Recreational Services

 

Sport & Recreational Clubs

Sport clubs are registered student organizations. These clubs are designed to bring together students with similar sporting, recreation or gaming interests. The sport clubs program can offer a wide variety of sporting activities, including team sports and individual sports. Previous experience is not a prerequisite for membership. Sport clubs may be competitive in nature or may be administered for their socio-recreational elements. They should encompass both qualities. Sport clubs are open to all skill levels. Clubs accommodate any interested participant and work to maintain a balance between the more experienced participant and the novice.

         If you would like more information about one of our sport clubs, please contact the club officers. Their information is on their website (see the links below). If you do not see the club you are interested in, please read over the club application packet to find out how you can bring the club to campus!

- OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENTS -

  • Next Club Council Meeting is Mon., November 30th, 2009 at 6 PM
  • Clubs must bring Monthly Report #3 (reflecting Nov. information) !!!
  • Clubs must bring the item they signed up for for the End of the Year Party!! Email joy.kearney@cnu.edu if you're unsure of what you're to bring!
  • Clubs are to also bring their First Aid Kit

Sport Club Council

  • Meetings are held the first Monday of the month.
  • Location: President's Reception Room   (2nd Floor - Freeman Center)
  • Time: 8:00 PM
  • All club officers will receive an email reminder prior to a scheduled meeting.
  • Each club should have a representative at these meetings.
  • This meeting is not required for Outdoor or Recreational Clubs
