The purpose of the intramural sports program is to
provide an opportunity for Christopher Newport
University students, faculty and staff members to
take part in competitive and non-competitive
recreational sport activities within the
framework of educational endeavors.
Intramurals encompasses an inclusive
environment of healthy competition, where
sportsmanship is emphasized and programs
are available to participants regardless of
their skill level, ability, experience or otherwise.
